The New Business Specialist II manages, reviews, and processes life insurance applications during the new business process. Establishes and proactively maintains relationships with producers, their uplines, and internal and external clients. Effectively answers questions about the application process, providing accurate, detailed, and complete information.
- Review life insurance applications for completeness and accuracy
- Independently conduct initial review and make judgement & decisions that fall within prescribed policies and procedures
- Order necessary requirements for underwriting review
- Follow up with vendors and/or producers to obtain necessary requirements/information
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with producers, field offices and interested parties
- Provide professional, high level, customer service via telephone (inbound and outbound), email, and/or written communication, handling policy inquiries.
- Ensures applications are processed following company policy and all regulatory requirements
- Accountable for providing follow through to resolve problems or complaints and communicate action taken as needed
- Adhere to department production and quality policies and standards
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned
Qualifications

Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with new business processing/case management interacting with producers/customers in the life insurance field
- A college degree is not required, but it is preferred; ultimately, we value high quality skills, experience and a winning attitude as much as an earned degree
- Demonstrated strong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilities
- You are an excellent communicator, with empathy and strong listening skills
- You are results-oriented and great with people
- You are an intuitive problem-solver who thinks critically and creatively to deliver the right solution
- You exercise sound judgement and independent thinking in decision making, while balancing the need for collaboration in a team
- You demonstrate a healthy curiosity and passion to continually learn and improve business acumen

Salary : $44,000 - $66,000
