We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting team in Bedford, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems.
- Provides support, analysis and input for the yearly budget process.
- Accurately and efficiently reconciles each branch during the monthly close process.
- Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
- Balances accounts periodically and assists in preparation of profit, loss, income and balance sheet statements.
- Inventory Management-inventory reconciliation and valuation adjustments
- Assist in month end transactions including journal entries
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve any issues
- Fixed asset maintenance
- Analyze revenues and expenses
- Annual preparation and issuance of 1099 tax forms
- Provide support to external auditors during annual audit
- Provide support in performing financial analysis on the actual results on a monthly basis
- Provide cross-functional backup to other accounting functions
- Responsible for tracking and reporting daily cash book and bank balances
- Additional responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications or Equivalent:
- BS Accounting Degree
- 1-2 years clerical accounting experience
- Superior analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft/ Excel
- SAP experience a huge plus!
