Assistant Director of Nursing Maryland
Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services seeks an RN for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide case management throughout the Charles, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundel counties. The ADON manages all aspects of assigned Private Duty Nursing cases, including responsibility as direct reports for all nurses assigned to the cases. The ADON works closely with staffing personnel to cooperatively manage the administrative aspects of the cases, including scheduling, human resource matters, and payroll and billing concerns. The ADON also serves as a resource for the patients and their families and is a point of contact for referral sources, payer sources, physicians, and regulatory bodies related to the assigned cases. ADONs also conduct interviews, competency assessments, hiring, and orienting new field personnel. Services are provided to patients in their homes, and ADONs will travel to homes every 30 days to assess patients per regulations.

Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state your case is located, or a compact state nursing license.
- At least 1 year of direct pediatric experience
- Successfully pass a background check
- American Heart Association approved CPR Certification
- Acceptable I-9 documents indicating eligibility to work in the United States
- Copy of current TB results or Chest X-ray if available
- The ability to make independent nursing judgments with minimal supervision.
- A desire to lead a team and make a difference every day!
