Job description – Personal Finance Management Instructor
Contracting Resources Group, Inc. (CRG) is seeking an instructor to teach the Personal Financial Management Course, a comprehensive 8-hour program in support of Army requirements at Advanced Individual Training schools located throughout the U.S. The PFMC program demonstrates strong support for improving the Soldier’s quality of life and provides them and their families with the necessary tools to better manage their fiscal resources.
Job Duties
- Teach and instruct the Personal Financial Management Course to students.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the course.
- Provide surveillance of the curriculum.
- Administer and grade pre- and post-test written and performance examinations.
- Coordinate and reproduce handouts for distribution to students.
- Safeguard and control the training site.
- Maintain student records and course paperwork.
- Store classroom equipment and conduct inventory.
- Record deficiencies/discrepancies in training equipment and perform routine checks on equipment.
Requirements
- Associates Degree
- 1 years of teaching experience or instructor experience in an academic setting
- Proficiency in financial management and teaching techniques
- Financial management subject matter knowledge
- Familiarity with initial presentation, curriculum and training aids
- CPR certification
- Accredited Financial Counselor Certification (preferred but not required)
- Army Systems Approach to Training knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Compensation: Wage determined rate based on location. The instructor is paid per class taught
- Classes take place mostly on Saturdays. Occasionally, a unit will ask for a class on another day of the week, and we will accommodate if able.
