1.Coordinates with Project Managers/Ops Managers for assignment and scheduling of Designers and deliverables. Properly aligns design resources to projects based on project scope and requirements. Works with designers on laying out design and ensuring that delivery dates and project budgets are met.
2.Provides high level conceptual design and/or field support for high profile, complex or troubled projects. Acts as first level of technical support coordination for Designers.
3.Supervises colleagues in a manner that maintains morale, proficiency, and productivity. Recruits and hires colleagues as required. Performs managerial responsibilities including but not limited to: mentoring, coaching, development planning, performance management.
4.Provides technical support for sales and customers. Participates with sales colleagues on high level customer solutions- definition and development of solutions/options and long-term planning.
5.Responsible for the development and maintenance of design and installation quality and standards. Reviews design deliverables for quality and standard adherence.
6.Works in conjunction with other Supervisors/Leadership to develop, optimize and implement workflows and processes across design and installation teams.
7.Provides leadership on advanced solutions opportunities and direction of the Branch. Determines appropriate advanced solutions products/services for our market and implement training/development plan to bring Branch technical resources proficient in these products/services.
8.Leads CTC participation in PSG. Supports IT Network Specialists in development of custom service/installation solutions and coordination with PSG team/assignments.
9.Provides technical design support for operations. Develops solutions to technical issues during execution of projects and/or service; supports PMs on designs and estimates for change orders.
10.Participates in internal pre-bid review meetings and project turnover meetings.
11.Oversee, manage and support Engineering Dept. tasks: Design development, generation of drawings, schedules, submittals, plans and calculations for contract and deployment packages
12.Develops and maintains engineering process workflows in support of sales and operations.
13.Engineering design review prior to deployment for constructability, cost/risk impact and adherence to company standards and contract documents/proposals.
14.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
