In Home Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including in caregivers home and or caregiving facility home. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Daily update the process report.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Assist clients with Activities pf Daily Living (ADLs. ) and provide stellar care in a long-term care setting.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings including clinics, outpatient facilities, teaching hospitals, and specialized units like PICU or OR as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning about best practices in caregiving to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an In Home Caregiver or in a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is essential for this role.
• Reliable, punctual & provide stellar- elevated comfort to the patients, and or elderlies

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
