Description
We are looking for a part time Custodial Team Lead. Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, is responsible for assisting with the operation and coordination of custodial services. The CTL oversee day-to-day duties of custodial staff while performing routine cleaning of offices and public areas and maintenance of tile and carpeted floors in COPE buildings. Responsible for accompanying custodial crew members to job sites; observe performance, oversee work training, and provide instruction and assistance accordingly. Promote safe handling of chemicals and follow safety procedures and regulations. Must have a valid AZ Drivers License with an acceptable driving record - see important notes below.
Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 8:30pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have experience in custodial services or related field.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card for duration of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with supervising staff, floor stripping, waxing and carpets.

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;
- more than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;
- any major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.
Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable. At time of job offer, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
