Senior IT Support Specialist Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems and support services across our global operations. The Senior IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing IT infrastructure improvements to meet the company’s operational needs.

- Provide senior-level technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Manage and troubleshoot advanced networking and connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Administer and support Microsoft Windows and Office 365 environments, including user account management, permissions, and group policies.
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement IT projects and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
- Conduct proactive system monitoring and performance tuning to optimize IT operations.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and infrastructure.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior IT support staff, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- 6 years of experience in IT support operations, supporting national or global organizations using remote management tools.
- Prior systems administration experience is a plus, with a focus on virtualized / cloud environments.
- Advanced working knowledge of Fresh Service, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager), Company Portal, ConnectWise Control Suite.
- Advanced proficiency working and troubleshooting with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS devices.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
