Cornerstone is a premier event production company in Utah—known for bringing global brand experiences to life. We are seeking a creative genius to join our design team as an Art Director.

The position reports to the Creative Director and will work closely with other Art Director’s and design team members. The ideal candidate is not only a talented designer, but is also a good communicator, team-oriented, and thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments. Roles and Responsibilities

1. Create stunning concepts and final deliverables for internal and external client projects.
   1. Projects may include, but are not limited to, brand development, event signage, mainstage themes, booth design, décor, furniture selection, websites, social media, etc.
2. Translate ideas and client objectives into strong design solutions—while adhering to brands, strategies, target audiences, and other outlined parameters.
3. Work closely with internal team members and account executives to develop captivating presentations that reinforce proposal requests.
4. Maintain positive working relationships within all areas of the business, and with all external clients, vendors, and contractors.
5. Actively contribute to brainstorms, design reviews, strategy meetings, etc. Positively incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
6. Ensure deliverables are on-time, meet objectives, follow brand standards, and are well designed/executed. Ensure files are properly organized and archived on the server.
7. Deliver clean/accurate files, along with spec sheets for production. (Offline and online execution.)
8. Attend site visits as needed. Understand facility capabilities/restrictions.
9. Stay current on technologies/programs, print capabilities/materials, design and event trends, etc.

 Requirements

1. BA/BFA in graphic design, environmental design, marketing/advertising, or related discipline. Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in print and event design. Exhibits strength in design principles: layout, typography, color theory, scale, etc.
2. 3 years professional design experience in an agency or corporate setting with proven skills.
3. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and Microsoft Office programs. (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, etc.).
4. Strong team player, with the ability to work independently. Detailed oriented/organized.
5. Excellent communication skills. Strategic thinker. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within tight time frames.
6. Ability to travel as needed to support assignments.
