Corsair Management LLC is Hiring a Community Manager Near Horn Lake, MS

  • Work with the preconstruction team to bid, scope, and select subcontractors
  • Predict resources needed to complete projects
  • Work with staff to resolve any issues on a daily basis
  • Manage costs to meet budget
  • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
  • Manage construction schedule and activities
  • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
  • Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, engineers, vendors and subcontractors
  • Plan and schedule the entire construction project, including construction operations and timelines to make sure project deadlines are met
  • Communicate the status of the building project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports
  • Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
  • Manage all contracts to ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as required; verify that invoices match contract pricing
  • Supervise all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties
  • Respond positively and promptly to requests from building tenants and occupants. Oversee the implementation of ongoing contract programs to constantly assess tenant and occupant needs and to ensure problems are being solved promptly
  • Prepare, review, and give initial approval and as needed all budgets, financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures and purchase orders of properties
  • Assist in the development of capital budgets for the property. This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Collect, analyze and report statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives
  • Hire, train and motivate facility personnel. Maintain positive staff relations. Conduct or approve performance evaluations for staff
  • Thoroughly familiar with the management contract and all requirements contained therein
  • Monitor and ensure that tenants and vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate all claims, as required

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience working on multi-family/senior housing/hospitality projects.
  • Competent in using MS Office Suite, Appfolio, any online estimating software, and Procore
  • Excellent time management, organization and priority-defining skills, with exceptional ability to listen, communicate (written and oral) and strong willingness to collaborate. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple properties and project
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Local market knowledge of vendors and labor force
  • Bachelor's degree or similar education in Construction trade is helpful but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
