COSCO Shipping Logistics North America, Inc., having a rich history in Container Shipping, Air Freight, Project Cargoes and Contract Logistics is continually on the move in this dynamic shipping environment. We are presently looking for a Team Member to join our NJ Operations team. The position is based in Secaucus, NJ or Jamaica, NY.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Communicate with our global account base for international shipments.
- Partner internally with all departments to maximize production and quality.
- Coordinate with all business service providers, customers and overseas offices to provide the most competitive quality solutions.
- Basic NVOCC shipment documentation.
- Process bookings, input data, rate shipments, coordinate last mile deliveries and AR.
- Proactively track and trace shipments until completion.
- Customers specific reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years Import & Export experience in NVOCC / Freight Forwarding.
- Ability to deal with service providers & understanding of shipment management.
- Data Entry.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural company.
- Attention to detail to reduce errors and costs.
- Strong communication Skills.
- Proficient in speaking and writing English, Mandarin is a plus.
- Understanding of the basic FMC guidelines for NVOCC business.
- Our systems are Info X for the Ocean and Air NVOCC product.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Mandarin is a plus.
