EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Report crime scenes and ensure necessary reports are completed.2. Collect physical evidence at crime scenes; locate and question witnesses; evaluate evidence; take notes; make arrests.3. Conduct searches and surveillance work.4. Investigate complaints and respond to emergencies requiring the presence of a law enforcement officer.5. Advise patrol officers in matters of criminal activity.6. Operate law enforcement vehicles and related police equipment.7. Cooperate with other county, city, state and federal authorities in investigations and apprehension of criminals.8. Take photographs and lift latent fingerprints.9. Provide information and direction to the public.10. Performs related duties as may be required or assigned.
