Overview:
Looking for a Data Center Manager that will be responsible for documentation and maintenance of
AFNCR datacenters. The successful candidate will be expected to implement engineering solutions
and assure operational stability, assure datacenter configuration management, maintain system
block diagrams and rack elevation diagrams. Assure that all equipment is under maintenance
support. Primary Responsibilities
 Datacenter Management
 Experience in rack elevation diagrams
 Configuration Management experience
 Support engineering review and documentation
 Manage the implementation of new equipment
 Escort visitors will after hour’s support and weekend activities as required.
 Must be available for on-call support
Preferred Qualifications
 Minimum twelve (12) years’ experience as Datacenter management in programs and contracts of
similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from
an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) additional years of experience in Network
Engineering disciplines may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Experience with the following technologies:
 Network management tools
 Implementing DISA STIGS
 Microsoft Server (e.g., 2012, 2016, 2019)
 Network storage tools
 Network backup solutions
 Linux
 VMware
 Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
 Databases (SQL/Oracle)
 High Availability Solutions
