Position Overview:
Courtesy Nissan is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. As a pivotal member of our Service Department, the Service Advisor acts as the liaison between customers and our service technicians. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong technical understanding of automotive systems, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival at the service department.
- Listen attentively to customers' concerns and vehicle issues, ensuring thorough understanding before proceeding.
- Clearly communicate service recommendations, including necessary repairs, maintenance, and estimated costs, to customers.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, striving to exceed customer expectations and foster long-term relationships.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, maximizing technician productivity while accommodating customer preferences.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Create and maintain accurate service records, including customer information, vehicle details, service history, and work performed.
- Process customer payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service or customer service roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with automotive service software and basic office applications.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and terminology, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
