We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Duties
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair and replace components of powertrain systems, including engines and transmissions.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Estimate repair costs accurately and communicate findings to customers effectively.
- Work on diesel engine repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair, with a focus on automotive diagnostics.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engine repair is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various vehicle systems.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Experience in auto estimating is a plus.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is advantageous but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
