What are the responsibilities and job description for the BARBACK position at Cove Communities?
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain bar area including floors, counters, furniture, tables, glasses, and dishes.
- Keep bar stocked with necessary equipment including Liquor, beer, ice, napkins and other garnishes, cleaning equipment and glasses.
- Restock the bar at the close of each shift.
- Organize and put away shipments of liquor and beer while tracking inventory levels before and after shifts.
- Other tasks will be assigned as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. comfortably.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to cut off guests for over intoxication
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education & Experience
- High School degree or equivalent
- Must have or be willing to obtain necessary liquor and alcohol service permits.
