What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dedicated Implementation Manager position at Covenant Logistics?
The Dedicated Implementation Manager collaborates to manage the Implementation of New Business Startups for the DCC Operations in a Customer Focused manner, coordinating all start up activities both internal and external.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as the Manager for all startup implementation projects – executing and following up on any applicable Implementation Plans for new business Start Ups
- Responsible for managing startup execution on day one until the operation is fully up and running at a high-quality level with documented KPI’s required by the customer.
- Implementation project management assistance –managing project plans, expectations, progress, and risks utilizing project management methods and professional acumen.
- Responsible for Customer Engagement throughout the implementation process and transition period.
- Operational improvement.
- Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to provide and assist in implementing innovative solutions with process improvement.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to assist in leading projects and influencing others to obtain buy-in and participation across all departments and business units involved in the startup implementation projects and any process improvement projects.
- Strong internal and external customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to respond to and assist in constructive solutions outside of the normal business hours, as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of DOT and other transportation related requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 4 years transportation industry experience required
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
- Additional business certifications preferred

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $64,534.65-$101,269.75
Pay Grade: 10
