What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Crayon Campus Inc.?
We are looking for a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher to care for our Infants and/or Toddlers as they learn and grow and prepare themselves for Preschool. Our teachers must have great love and patience when it comes to caring for their classroom children. Qualifications needed include a valid EEC certification with all necessary requirements which include:
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience (at the Program's discretion) in supporting children's growth and development
- Have completed or plans to complete credit-bearing coursework in Categories of Study which include: Child Growth and Development, Birth - Eight Years, Planning Programs and Environments for Young Children, Infant and Toddler Development, Care, and Program Planning, Health and Safety in Early Childhood, and Child Observation, Documentation and Assessment
- Any prior Certifications given by EEC are valid and accepted! Above are new Requirements posted by EEC as of November 23, 2021.
Responsibilities
- Meet NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct
- Prepare and execute curriculum with team members
- Oversee and run daily routines of classroom
- Communicate verbally and in writing with parents/guardians on a regular basis
- Attend staff meetings, team meetings and Center functions such as professional development days
- Plan and conduct a classroom program to meet each child's needs
- Ensure routines are carried out promptly, safely, and consistently
- Operate the classroom based on EEC regulations and standards
- Create a pleasant, inviting atmosphere in which children are allowed to flourish
- Constant supervision of children to ensure safety
- Frequent head counts

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
