Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and instruction to children of varying age groups.
- Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote children?s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Step in for absent teachers or provide support during peak times, ensuring classroom routines run smoothly.
- Supervise children during play, meals, rest, and outdoor activities.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of classrooms and common areas.
- Maintain positive and open communication with parents, staff, and management.
- Support children as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Follow all center policies, procedures, and licensing regulations.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all DCYF requirements
- Passion for working with children
- Dependable
