PAY IS STARTING AND NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Summary:
The Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and or the Senior Clinical Supervisor. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans. The BCBA supports the implementation of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy programs across the home, center and/or community settings and is responsible for supervising the Behavior Technicians (BT’s) as well as providing consistent parent/caregiver training and case oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight across assigned cases.
- Oversee supervise, train, mentor, case managers, and behavior therapist.
- Ensure programs are being implemented and run correctly and consistently.
- Ensure progress is being made across programs and families are satisfied with progress.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior strategies to teach replacement behaviors and reduce maladaptive behaviors and develop treatment goals to address each concern, domain, and skill deficit.
- Assist in the development of and facilitate training in Applied Behavior Analysis using numerous models of training.
- Complete mandatory clinical session notes on time
- Maintain HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) confidentiality.
- Attend monthly management meetings to keep up on industry trends and training.
- Ensure the electronic data collections system (Catalyst) is updated to correspond with the most recent progress report.
- Remain proficient with policies and procedures.
- Represent the company professionally in all client and colleague interactions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology or related field
- A current /valid BCBA Certification
- CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) current certification (or obtain upon hire)
- Completed the 8-hour BCBA Supervision course per the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board).
- Completed CAQH, (The Counsel for Affordable Quality Healthcare) insurance credentialing applications, and modules.
- 2 years of management /supervisor experience leading team members
- Must have a valid California driver's license and personal and reliable vehicle.
- Auto Insurance (with your name visible on the policy as the owner or as a registered driver
- Experience with technology; Microsoft, Electronic data collection system etc...
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Pass TB (Tuberculosis) test, and background check /Live Scan Fingerprint
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
