You'll Be...
- building new ETLs to move across data systems;
- managing and scale existing ETLs;
- designing databases and database tables;
- building and manage container-based APIs;
- consuming available APIs to orchestrate data capture flow.
- you are a well-rounded data engineer (infrastructure and ETL experience);
- you have experience with implementing data quality controls and metrics;
- you have experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, experience with AirFlow is a plus;
- you have experience working with AWS cloud;
- you have the ability and desire to wear multiple hats (build/maintain infrastructure, author ETLs, troubleshoot/address production environment issues);
- you have worked with moving large data sets;
- you understand the privacy and sensitivity of the data we work with;
- you’re a self-starter who can operate with little guidance and close out issues without waiting to be asked;
- you’re skilled at diving into data to both identify correlations and derive inferences;
- you’ve learned new technical skills on your own and are savvy in finding the right search terms;
- you’ve had experience with data mapping/cleansing/processing;
- you have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
