Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for our organization. This position involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Position Responsibilities

  • Utilize a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and post them on appropriate platforms to reach a wide audience of candidates.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and generate recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in recruitment to continually improve hiring processes.
  • Promote diversity in the hiring process by implementing inclusive recruitment practices and actively seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or years equivalent years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; capable of engaging with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make informed hiring decisions based on data and insights.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges in the recruitment process.
  • Understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion in recruitment and the ability to promote these values within the organization.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Able to walk and stand, use arms and legs for long periods of time including wrist turning and finger manipulation.

· Employee stands frequently with tasks requiring consistent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to complete; Lift, carry and push/pull occasionally of up to 50 pounds is required.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions.

· Job locations can be consistently 40 degrees or below.

· The noise levels at work are moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.
