Duties
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the fire safety sector, focusing on fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to recommend appropriate solutions, including system design and installation services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits of our fire safety products.
- Collaborate with manager, operations, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution from design through completion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the company CRM system.
Skills
- 5 years Fire Alarm Estimating/Sales or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in alarm system sales or fire alarm sales is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, low voltage systems, installation and testing.
- Minimum NICET level II-certified in fire alarm systems.
- Technical aptitude with understanding of blueprints, current NFPA 72 standards and local codes.
- Ability to design effective fire safety systems tailored to client specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
