What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at CRIMSON?
CRIMSON is seeking an experienced Account Manager who is eager to become one of our brand ambassadors, nurturing and growing existing and new accounts. The Account Manager will be a day-to-day client contact, immersing themselves in their client’s business, needs, and objectives. They will work seamlessly with our team of experts providing insightful creative strategies and solutions that advocate for the client’s brand.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with clients on their goals and needs, ensuring alignment to overall brand strategy
- Developing clear comprehensive creative briefs for the internal team
- Creating and executing Creative/Marketing Strategies
- Conducting marketing / industry research
- Developing and executing Client presentations on behalf of the CRIMSON team
- Being the client’s Brand Advocate & resource for the CRIMSON team
- Overseeing projects ensuring they are delivered successfully on time and within budget; Including but not limited to website development, marketing campaigns, video, social media, etc.
- Managing client expectations respectfully while ensuring overall client satisfaction
- Coordinating account deliverables, meetings, documents, approvals, client communications, etc.
- Monitoring client/project budgets and deliverables
- Managing regular project/status meetings with the client & other team members as needed
- Keeping projects updated in the project management system and providing detailed client status/progress reports
- Overseeing quality control & brand consistency of deliverables
- Providing transparent & responsive communication both externally and internally; producing clear and insightful client presentations, analytics reports, etc.
- Leading & coordinating efficient client/project meetings
- Supporting CRIMSON internal marketing initiatives as needed
- Developing CRIMSON new business proposals/RFP responses, participating in pitches as needed
- Occasional work outside of traditional business hours may be required to manage client production needs/deadlines as well as client and networking/professional development events. Most work is conducted during traditional business hours Monday-through-Friday and we emphasize a strong work/life balance.
Skills / Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of integrated communications and marketing experience, with a strong track record in client relations and client satisfaction.
- Agency experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism and/or similar experience required
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing and communications including messaging, strategy, campaigns, KPIs/analytics, and targeting
- Strategic thinking & problem-solving
- Consistently curious with a desire to learn
- Clear & concise communication and collaboration across various departments and levels
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional client service
- Organized with efficient project management skills, juggling multiple projects & deadlines
- Works well under pressure, easily adapting to changing client needs and deadlines
- Strong presentation and writing skills
- Ability and interest in mentoring fellow team members
- Efficient in using Google Suite, project management software, time-tracking software, various videoconference platforms and proficient in social media platforms
- Media relations experiences are a plus, but not required.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
