What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Cabinet Builder position at CROWN CABINETS?
Crown Cabinets is looking to hire a reliable individual to join our team! We are looking for someone who has 5 years of experience with building cabinets/assemble and reading plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare layout, using ruler, square, patterns and other measuring instruments.
- Build custom cabinetry according to customer specifications.
- Work with advanced hand tools and use advanced assembly methods to complete production requirements.
- Operate woodworking equipment safely, following standard equipment operating procedures and established woodworking procedures.
- Assemble cut and shaped materials and fastens them together using nails, dowels, screws or glue and following the drawing details.
- Assemble and inspect each product to ensure it meets company's quality standard.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Cabinetry experience for Assembler (preferred 5 years).
- Problem solver and knowledge to read prints.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to coordinate the movements of eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
- The ability to read/interpret shop drawing and blueprints.
- Must be able to follow specific directions.
- Must be able stand or walk for long periods.
- Must be able to read and understand measuring tools and levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
