About the Cath Lab Tech Role
Crown Staffing Lexington Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join a dynamic team at Baptist Health System, KY. In this role, you will assist with procedures in both cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) labs, playing a vital part in patient care and recovery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations.
- Assisting with interventional cath procedures, including rotablator and IABP.
- Using closure devices and managing dysrhythmias.
- Preparing and maintaining sterile procedures and equipment setups.
- Providing care for middle adult to geriatric patients.
- Documenting procedures using computerized systems.
Call requirements include:
- 2 weekends in an 8-week schedule.
- 1-2 weekday nights per week (5:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Weekend call: 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday (48 hours).
Cath Lab Tech Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT, ACLS, BLS.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cath lab procedures.
Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cath procedures.
- Ability to manage neuro and cardiac calls (training provided).
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation systems.
- Licenses: Compact or state license required.
