Cryptic Vector is looking for an RF Design Engineer who has the desire to design and develop innovative solutions to our government’s technical challenges. The ideal candidate has the experience and/or knowledge to design RF circuits that function from 1 MHz to 100 GHz and has the skills necessary to perform schematic capture and Printed Circuit Board layout of these designs.
The responsibilities of the RF Design Engineering position include the following:
- Solution Design, Development, and Implementation
- Identifying the proper RF components and understanding how to connect them in such a way to fulfill a set of specified requirements
- Schematic Capture
- PCB Layout
- Formulating testing strategies for the RF designs created
- Executing the testing strategies for the designs implemented
- Understanding how to test AND debug RF hardware implemented on Circuit Card Assemblies
- Ability to perform analysis of the RF designs to ensure impedance matching and VSWR are acceptable for the given application
- Ability to perform efficient Power Amplifier (PA) design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in RF engineering, including design, testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits and systems.
- Be detail oriented and an analytical problem solver
- Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance
- Willing to work in the greater Cincinnati area
- Willingness to learn new skills and the desire to constantly grow and become a better engineer
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
