Job Description:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant that will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and maintaining standard and specialized financial reports and records under general supervision according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for Crystal IS.  Your duties will involve work in many different areas, including accounting, travel and expense, vendor spend and expense analytics. 

If you have experience with AP and AR transactions, recording GL distributions in accounting software, high attention to detail, are inquisitive, and have experience in an accounting department within a manufacturing environment (preferred), please apply!

Job Responsibilities

The Job responsibility includes, but is not limited to:

• Prepare accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports for review by senior peer or manager and ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Analyze and prepare account reconciliations; review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences
• Administer and maintain Concur expense system; including accounting data feeds, training, end user support and auditing expense program
• Prepare adjusting journal entries
• Prepare cash disbursements (AP)
• Post cash receipts (AR) and collections support
• Prepare payables (AP) for data entry
• Process parent and sister company invoices
• Perform accounting analysis and support finance projects as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications)

• Minimum:  Associates Degree in Accounting or related discipline and 4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline and 2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Direct experience in an accounting department within a manufacturing environment (cost accounting) is highly preferred

The base compensation range for this role is $32-$40 an hour. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.  Please keep in mind the range mentioned above is the base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
