Position Title:  Lead Custodian                                   

Business Unit: Custodial                    

Position Reports to: Custodial Supervisor                             

Positions Reporting to this Role: Frontline custodial, Waste Organizers, and lodge attendants   

Location: Crystal Mt, Washington

Wage Range: 26.00 - 28.00 DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES-

Custodians are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facility.

• Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guests
• Lead and work with team of Custodians to keep Crystal, Crystal Clean
• Assigns daily roles, creates accountability for lodge cleanliness
• Assists manager with scheduling of Custodial team
• Inventory of Custodial supplies and notifying Manager when supplies are low
• Maintenance of Custodial equipment (vacuums, paper towel dispensers, etc)
• Vacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floors and restrooms
• Deep clean and stock restrooms
• Transport trash and recycling to appropriate containers
• Report any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities Manager
• Shampoo carpets
• Straighten tables and chairs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to work in a team environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-

• This position is required to work weekday, weekend, and holiday evenings while in operation, occasionally late into the evening.
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Manual dexterity to operate a mop, vacuum, and broom on a constant basis.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to ski or snowboard preferred.
