CS Manufacturing is Hiring a Warehouse Lead Near Charlotte, NC
*Plan *Organize *Supervise *Accurate *Multi-Tasker *Detailed Oriented * Problem-solving
The Warehouse Lead will perform activities involved with the receiving and staging of the company’s inventory. The individual will be responsible for material handling in a stone inventory warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, organization, cleanliness of facility, safety and distribution of product and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
- Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory. Conduct inventory control cycle counts.
- Receive, unpack, pack, issue, store and deliver product, supplies and/or equipment, complete packing slips for shipments.
- Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery, oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required.
- Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
- Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.
- Lead by example to train and motivate warehouse associates.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
Experience:
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and stock procedures/methods.
- Experience with warehousing system. Monitoring, data entry, order maintenance and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledgeable of Health and Safety regulations.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
- Must have a Valid North Carolina Driver's License
