In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in automotive systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations
- Examine and test vehicles to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot problems and verify the accuracy of repairs
- Maintain records of repairs and services performed, including parts used and hours worked
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Adhere to safety standards and guidelines in the workshop environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic (3 years preferred)
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance practices
- Valid automotive repair certification (e.g., Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification)
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license
