PATIENT ACCESS SUPERVISOR

Job Summary:

• Assistpatient access manager to ensure areas are adequately staffed and fillin for vacant shifts if needed.
• Superviseand overseetraining of new hires.
• Conducttraining/retraining as needed and movenon-performing personnel through disciplinary process as needed.
• Completedaily, weekly, and monthly reports as instructed by the patient access manager.
• Conductmonthly accuracy audits on patient access employees as directed by the patient access manager and reportresults to manager.
• Assistmanager with yearly PMP evaluations.
• Demonstrateand encourageteam behavior and exceptional patient/guest experience.
• Upholdand promotepatient safety and quality.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. The ability to interpret medical terminology required.

Experience:
One to two years of clerical skills required. 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Additional Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills required. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products. Knowledge of insurance requirements is also required.
