Description
Position: Graduate Assistant for Accessibility Services
Hours: 20 hours per week minimum for term of graduate program
Supervisor: Director of Accessibility Services
Compensation: Tuition Waiver
Primary Job Function: Proctoring Exams for students with academic accommodations
Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Proctor exams for students with academic accommodations, sometimes with as little as
24-hour notice
o Coordinate pick up and return of exam from professor offices.
o Work with Coordinator of Accessibility Services to continually improve testing procedures.
o Email professors, students, and Coordinator of Accessibility Services in professional and timely manner
o Communicate with Coordinator of Accessibility Services daily and provide clerical support when needed.
o Organize proctoring schedule as a team, and enter that to the Google Calendar
o Come to the main campus for monthly team meeting regarding proctoring.
o Assist with events Accessibility Services coordinates
o Other duties as assigned.

o Fluency in Google mail, calendar, and scheduling
Minimum Qualifications:
o Must be accepted into a Cumberland University Master’s Program
o At least 3.00 overall GPA
o Flexible schedule for proctoring hours
