CURIS is looking for an ambitious Project Lead to join our Projects Integrations team!
CURIS System is a growing Bio-decontamination company specializing in integrated systems for the Life Sciences, BioPharma and Healthcare facilities and installing bio-decontamination equipment nationwide. Our team is growing due to the principles of quality service, integrity, transparency, and hard work focused on superior customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Project Lead who is willing and able to manage while working with a small design and implementation teams. Candidates are expected to have a construction background and familiarity with electrical work, building regulations, structural steelwork, and reading blueprints / schematics.
We are expecting you to have solid experience in construction, outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
Construction Project Lead Duties and Responsibilities
CURIS Integration Project Leads are vital to our success by being the face of the company while keeping workers, sub-contractors, material deliveries, and on-site activities on schedule. CURIS Integration Project Leads are expected to work with and lead their small team of professionals on jobs ranging from equipment installation to install or renovate into existing structures CURIS dedicated cutting edge equipment. Project Leads must effectively plan, communicate, execute, and debrief on all projects to achieve consistency. As the face of CURIS, the Project Lead must also be comfortable in front of the client and accomplish administrative requirements and communications. These traits build client trust and facilitate repeat business.
Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goalsCreate schedules and monitor attendance of crewAssign general and daily responsibilitiesTrain workers and tradespeople and monitor their performanceManage manpower and resources ensuring they are adequateAdhere to all safety requirements and quality standardsMonitor the use of machinery and equipmentReview and analyze expenditures on a regular basis ensuring they remain within budgetTroubleshoot problems when they arisePrepare reports on progress to managers engineers and other stakeholdersExperience in and knowledge of the construction industry.Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.Understand building code basics for electrical (low and high voltage), HVAC, fire suppression, etcPreparation and planning before an event to facilitate efficiency while on the client's site.Communicating the plan of action with team members and clients before work.Manage change in accordance with CURIS priorities (client, efficiency, and safety).Provide clients with consistent updates in person, via email, and online.Debrief with the crew, management, and client to continuously find ways to get better.Key Attributes of a CURIS Project Lead
CURIS Integration Project Lead must be construction experts for a team of medical equipment technicians, network specialists, and sub-contractors. They must be able to facilitate success from their workers, establish a high standard of quality, and hold everyone accountable while cultivating a sense of teamwork and accomplishment. Qualifications
2 years' experience of working as a Construction Project Lead or other similar positionSignificant experience with construction procedures equipment and OSHA guidelinesSignificant experience with electrical with high and low voltageUnderstanding of heating, ventilation & air conditioning system operationsExcellent understanding of how to read and implement drawings plans and blueprintsStrong communication organizational and leadership skillsStrong math and problem-solving skills with an ability to report effectivelyGood physical condition and staminaAbility to travel out of town up to 65% of the time while the rest of the time would be spent managing the building team in Oviedo.Ability to work alongside the team in installation of equipmentFamiliarity with hand and power toolsKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage systems and or high voltage systemsAbility to read plans, decipher instructions, and follow the scope of workAbility to assess changes in the scope of a job and appropriately request a change orderMay be required to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestonesAbility to work in a crouched or kneeling position and confined spacesAbility to lift 70 poundsEducation
