Current Media Group is Hiring a Warehouse Receiver Near Colorado, CO

Position: Warehouse Receiver

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Department: Warehouse

Salary Range:  Starting $15.00/hr.; experience to be considered for higher wage

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with weekends and OT during the busy season.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: (This position is a temporary to regular full-time, after a 90 day review.) Receivers palletize and move materials on trailers from vendors into the warehouse and requesting departments for distribution. Receivers must possess basic math skills. Receivers are responsible for completing company training and certification for the safe operation of forklifts and attachments. Receivers must possess good eyesight.

COMMUNICATION: Receivers must be able to speak clearly to overcome surrounding industrial noise levels. Receivers must have good interpersonal skills.

LIFTING: Receivers must use proper lifting techniques and be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds for the entirety of their assigned shift (approximately 90% of work shift). Assistance is required for weights over 50 pounds.

PUSH/PULL: Receivers must be able to push material of various sizes and weights for the entirety of their assigned shift (approximately 60% of work shift). Receivers must be able to push/pull a handjack weighing 100 pounds to position palletized materials for distribution.

REACHING: Receivers must be able to reach to heights of 84 inches for the entirety of their shirt, to position and retrieve boxes to be shipped (approximately 80% of work shift).

STAND: Receivers must be able to stand while performing receiving functions (approximately 90% of work shift).

SIT: Receivers must be able to sit while operating a forklift (approximately 10% of work shift).

BENDING: Receivers must use proper lifting techniques to bend when picking up and/or moving materials, for the entirety of their assigned shift (approximately 50% of work shift).

PIVOTING: Receivers must be able to pivot on feet while pulling product from bins and pushing/pulling boxes on conveyor belt (approximately 90% of work shift) for the entire shift.

GRIPPING/GRASPING: Receivers must be able to grip and grasp a handjack to be able to guide palletized materials to designated areas, for the entirety of their assigned shift (approximately 90% of work shift).

KEYING: Receivers must key accurate and timely information into various computer programs/reports.

WALK: Receivers must be able to walk back and forth in their designated areas while carrying out their job function.

ROTATION (FLEXIBILITY): Receivers will be expected to perform other functions within the department.
