What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member position at CUSTOM FOOD SOLUTIONS LLC?
We are a leading Louisville based manufacturing facility located at 2505 Data Drive who is looking for qualified Warehouse Team Members to assist in keeping our facility in a clean and orderly condition.
As a Warehouse Team Member you would need to be able to:
| Safety: | Observes plant safety rules. He/She will follow safe operating procedures | |||||
| and plant conduct. Identifies safety hazards and takes appropriate steps to | ||||||
| control them. | ||||||
| Quality: | Team members will follow all provisions of operating procedures and | |||||
| instructions. Maintain a clean working area and adhere to all CFS ' good | ||||||
| manufacturing practices. | ||||||
| Receiving: | Processes in-bound material by following written procedures. Performs all | |||||
| QA inspections designated by procedures and applies properly filled out | ||||||
| placards to all ingredients. Ensures proper rotation on all ingredients. | ||||||
| Shipping: | Stages product and performs back counts to ensure accuracy of shipments. | |||||
| Inspects freight, shipping methods and performs all QA inspections. | ||||||
| Notifies QA to check shipment | ||||||
| Ingredient | Will pull product for production preparation two day's prior to scheduled | |||||
| Preparation: | production. He/She will notify the Warehouse Manager of any | |||||
| ingredient shortages. | ||||||
| Housekeeping: | Completes housekeeping tasks so as to maintain warehouse area in a neat | |||||
| and orderly condition. Cooperates with other managers in endeavors. | ||||||
| Prepares warehouse for inspections and serves as assigned on inspection | ||||||
| teams. |
