Custom Products Corporation is Hiring a Client Services Specialist Near Solon, OH

POSITION SUMMARY:The Client Services Specialist supports the account team by building client relationships, coordinating order processing and taking responsibility for assigned account functions to ensure service levels are met. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Receive and confirm incoming orders from clients and maintain client files.
  • Enter production orders into system according to specifications based on client requirements.
  • Work with other departments on status of orders and provide updates to clients when needed.
  • Manage material discrepancies with client.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints and document Customer Disappointments in software.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to fulfill requests, anticipate needs, and ensure client goals are met.
  • Process releases for just-in-time delivery to customer.
  • Schedule and coordinate inbound shipments.
  • Generate excel reports on weekly and monthly basis, distribute to appropriate departments.
  • Participate in information gathering for new items and/or new orders.
  • Submit requests for pricing to Purchasing, and provide client quotes for new item orders.
  • Source and place orders from vendors and handle associated CARs, as needed.
  • Manage purchase orders, i.e. entering orders, follow up on late orders and tracking invoices.
  • Maintain pricing and costs in the system.
  • Assist sales team in collaborating with internal business partners to address client needs.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor inventory levels to determine when orders need to be placed, as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate involvement of Operations and Management to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Inspect and approve job orders and incoming materials and establish accept/reject criteria.
  • Other related duties, as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in related field; two or more years of client service work preferred. Related client service work in excess of five years considered in lieu of degree. REQUIRED ABILITIES:
  • Computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel) and utilization of an ERP (SAP preferred),
  • Ability to analyze a situation to resolve routine, and some non-routine, problems,
  • Ability to interpret and exchange information in person and via telephone and computer,
  • Professional, service-oriented demeanor (courteous, responsive and respectful),
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external teams and individuals,
  • Self-motivated to successfully achieve objectives, with or without supervision,
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,
  • Organizational and time-management skills,
  • Willing and able to adapt to changing priorities,
  • Detail orientation and a high level of accuracy,
  • The trait of being accountable and willing/able to take full responsibility for actions and job performance,
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position frequently with some movement around the office,
  • Ability to occasionally position oneself to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:The Client Services Specialist works in a clean, well-lit office environment with occasional exposure to shop elements such as moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and moderate to loud noise.
