Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, change orders, and procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor expenditures and track project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure all construction work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee the highest level of workmanship and materials.
- Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project status, potential risks, and any changes to scope or schedule.
- Manage client expectations and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Proactively resolve any issues that arise during construction to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on ground-up construction.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
