SAP Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD, MM, PP Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SAP implementation, including planning, configuration, documentation, and continuous optimization. You will play a critical role in ensuring that SAP functionalities align with business requirements, providing high-quality solutions, and supporting end-users through training and ongoing assistance.

Tasks

• SAP SD, MM, PP Management:
• Lead and manage the SAP SD, MM, and PP modules, overseeing the planning, configuration, documentation, and optimization processes.
• Ensure that the SAP system is effectively supporting the business needs and is aligned with organizational goals.
• Business Process Analysis:
• Analyze and understand complex business processes within the organization.
• Provide expert recommendations on how SAP SD, MM, and PP functionalities can be leveraged to improve these processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP configuration.
• System Configuration and Testing:
• Configure the SAP SD, MM, and PP modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Conduct rigorous testing of the SAP system to ensure it meets functionality needs and performs efficiently.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the testing phase and make necessary adjustments.
• User Training and Support:
• Develop comprehensive training materials and programs for end-users to ensure they can effectively use SAP functionalities.
• Provide ongoing support to users, addressing any questions or issues related to the SAP SD, MM, and PP modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues post-implementation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with other SAP module leads, IT team members, and business stakeholders to ensure integrated and cohesive SAP solutions.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure that SAP implementations align with overall business strategies.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand evolving business needs and translate them into SAP module enhancements.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in SAP SD, MM, and PP modules, with a deep understanding of business processes related to sales, materials management, and production planning.
• Proven track record of managing SAP configurations and implementations from planning through optimization.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex business processes and recommend SAP solutions.
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs for end-users.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• SAP certification in SD, MM, or PP is highly desirable.
