Just-Evotec is seeking an experienced Export Control Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with all U.S. export control laws and regulations for both Just-Evotec Biologics and Evotec Inc. This position will play a crucial role in managing and implementing export control procedures, with responsibility for ensuring that all export activities comply with relevant U.S. government regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in biologics or small molecule pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the company's export control compliance program across both Just-Evotec Biologics and Evotec Inc. on the East Coast.
- Ensure compliance with all U.S. export control laws and regulations, including but not limited to EAR, ITAR, OFAC regulations, and other relevant U.S. government controls.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive export control policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of the export control program, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to changes in regulations at all Just-Evotec and Evotec sites in the US.
- Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on export control compliance, including engineering, manufacturing, legal, and operations departments.
- Lead and manage export license applications, technology transfer processes, and exemptions as applicable.
- Monitor changes to export control regulations and update the organization on potential impacts or compliance measures.
- Collaborate with the legal teams to provide input on strategic decision-making regarding export-related activities.
- Manage export documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with U.S. government requirements.
- Liaise with Evotec's internal stake holders as well as external stakeholders, including government agencies, freight forwarders, and legal counsel, to ensure smooth and compliant export operations.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $92,400 to $126,500; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual's skills, experience and competitive market value.
