Duties:
- Provide direct support or assistance in accordance with individual service or program plans; assists with socialization and behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
- Accurately administer and document delivery of medications and treatments.
- Monitor individual’s health; document health concerns; communicate with nurse or supervisor as appropriate.
- Prepares or supports individuals to prepare food in accordance with planned menus and individual choice; knows special diets and prepares individual meals accordingly.
- Assist with personal hygiene task as needed.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Can complete competency exam and submit three references.
-Must be 18 years of age.
-Valid Driver's License in good standing preferred
