Family Law Legal Assistant
- Note: 4 years previous litigation experience (family law) is highly preferred.

Flexible hybrid 3/2 work model.
Summary:
The Family Law Legal Assistant will work in tandem with Family Law Partners & Associates.
Responsibilities include typing and preparation of correspondence and legal documents including agreements, pleadings and discovery; preparing documents for filing and service; preparing hearing notebooks; client intake; client contact; maintaining document management database; maintaining partner’s calendar, scheduling court appearances; research, special projects, organizing files and other assignments as requested
Education, Experience & General Skills:
- High School Diploma required; college degree or Paralegal certificate preferred.
- 4 years of experience in family law highly preferred
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Experience with Timeslips and Essential Forms is preferred. Experience with Worldox or other document management systems would be helpful.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints and have the willingness to work as part of a team. Excellent spelling, grammar, attention to detail, organizational and communication skills are required.
Salary/Compensation:
Annual salary range is up to 100K (DOE/DOQ).
