Liquid Injection Mold (LIM) Operator 3rd Shift

Da/Pro Rubber is currently looking for an experienced Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) Lead Operator to join our team at the Owasso, OK location.
This facility is located at 6712 N. Canton Avenue, just off Hwy 75 and 66th St North.

This position is scheduled to work Monday to Friday 11 pm to 7 am in a climate-controlled environment.

Starting pay range is $11.50 -12.50 per hour, depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the LIM Supervisor, the Lead Operator plans, directs and/or coordinates activities of the press operators assigned to his or her shift. This position provides guidance and training to LIM staff and supports the LIM Supervisor in day-to-day administration as needed. Individual may performs mold changes and adjustments as needed.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews manufacturing instructions and production schedule;
• Operates a liquid injection rubber press to form rubber products from liquid silicone according to the sequence described in the manufacturing outline;
• Informs the supervisor or lead if changes in the process occur or if problems arise with the molded rubber part.

• Minimal lifting but must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to receive and convey information clearly and accurately.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Basic reading and writing
Computer knowledge necessary
Must be able to use basic hand tools and power tools
Individuals in this operator role stand for long periods, perform some moderate lifting, and must be able to push/pull.
