Worksite Location : Eagan, MN
Compensation : $65,000-$70,000 per year

What you’ll do as the Staff Accountant :
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and data consistency
Support the processing of construction draws by reviewing and verifying documentation and preparing the necessary paperwork for approval
Assist with the preparation and monitoring of departmental and project budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with financial goals
Perform account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Provide general accounting assistance as needed, including data entry, journal entries, and financial report preparation
Work closely with other departments to ensure proper documentation and timely processing of financial transactions
What you’ll bring to the Staff Accountant role :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)
Some experience in an Accounting or Finance role
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and construction accounting is preferred
