Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. $12 per hour plus weekly tips.
Duties
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring timely delivery of orders and maintaining communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before serving.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Handle special requests or dietary restrictions with care, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Support banquet functions as needed, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food presentation standards is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
