Inventory Control Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, and data analysis. You will work closely with the inventory control team to ensure accurate inventory records, optimize stock levels, and support overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily inventory control tasks, including tracking, counting, and reconciling stock levels in the distribution center.
• Support the team in maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions using our inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the Inventory Control Manager.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory data.
• Assist in the analysis of inventory data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Help coordinate inventory movements, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with inventory management software is a plus).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of inventory control concepts is preferred but not required.
