Job Description

DataOceans, a leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer that can work remotely anywhere in the continental U.S. This person will be responsible for developing web solutions to allow our clients to communicate effectively with their customers in various ways. This communication takes many forms but often centers around statements, billing, payments, marketing campaigns, user preferences, user notifications, etc.  Primary technologies are C#, .NET, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Docker and SQL along with the standard JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS expected in any web development.

Responsibilities & Duties

·       Develop high-quality, maintainable code focused on C# and .NET

·       Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using TypeScript and React.

·       Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

·       Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop and implement product features.

·       Solve complex problems independently and work effectively within the team.

·       Translate design prototypes into responsive web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

·       Design and maintain scalable and secure REST APIs.

·       Develop and maintain reusable UI and back-end components when possible

·       Stay current with technologies and apply best practices

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

·       5 years of experience building software for a production environment

·       5 years of experience with C#, REST API development, and React. 

·       2 years of development experience with TypeScript

·       2 years of development experience with modern client-side web libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular

·       Proficient with version control systems (preferably Git)

·       Proficient with unit testing (experience with JS frameworks such as Jest or Mocha is preferred)

·       Solid understanding of databases and fluent in SQL

·       3 years of development experience working with ORMs

·       3 years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment

Desired Skills & Experience

·       Familiarity with the latest version of .NET (currently .NET 8) and SQL Server.

·       Background in payment systems, PCI compliance, and HIPAA compliance.

·       Proficiency with cloud-native technologies, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

·       Agile/Scrum development process knowledge.
