What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at David Vega Tax and Accounting Services?
The candidate will help the employer prepare and file Federal and State income tax returns. The employer will provide access to the tax preparation software and paid training of it.
The candidate will work closely with the employer in ensuring that all the information is entered correctly and that all necessary guidelines are followed.
The candidate will participate in the billing and collection efforts of the clients and also any post-filing issues that may arise.
There are also other non-tax accounting tasks performed for other clients that include day-to-day bookkeeping needed year-round.
Most work can be performed remotely aside from infrequent in-person meetings from time to time.
