Davidson Technologies is seeking a Contracts Manager for Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract through its life cycle, from acquisition and performance to close out for conformance to legal, governmental and corporate regulations.
• Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration of all domestic and international Contracts/Subcontracts, modifications, contract deviations, change management and other contractual matters.
• Develop and lead negotiation strategies and ensure that all contractual agreements are entered into on terms that are in the best interests of the corporation. To include resolution to contractual risk issues with our internal and external customers.
• Establish, develop and maintain effective business relationships with members of the corporation and its customers
• Interface with prime/subcontractor and government contracting officers on contract related matters, including program and functional organization directors in the execution of contracts.
• Prepare and present management reports and analysis on all contractual- related matters to internal and external stakeholders, as needed
• Support the development and/or enhancement of corporate processes related to contracts
• Review and execute non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) and teaming agreements (TA’s) as well as matters related to intellectual property and OCIs.
• Prepare and present briefing packages for management review and sign-off of proposals
• Ability to review and comprehension of RFQ/RFP including working knowledge of the FAR / DFARS and other applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission and values of the corporation

Skills, and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Acquisition and Contract Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related business field
• 8-10 years Contracts experience in the government contracting field
• Microsoft Office experience
• Working knowledge of Deltek’s Costpoint
• Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and talent for accuracy and precision
• Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language, contract types and the contract lifecycle
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and has a strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent understanding of the business, its services, customers and providers

Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
