Position Summary / Purpose:
Our Mitigation teams are the frontline first responders to our customer's disasters. Assist customers quickly, efficiently, and professionally to mitigate the damage from worsening in their home or business through the timely and effective delivery of emergency mitigation services.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Jobsite performance and management of all mitigation services the company offers.
- Water extraction, equipment setup and take down, containment, contaminated material removal including flooring, cabinets, drywall, etc., complete drying of structure, cleaning.
- Coordinate on-site resource planning of technicians and materials on assigned projects.
- Plan with manager and execute assigned projects to completion.
- Complete documentation, dry logs, customer contracts, moisture maps, final job documents, etc.
- Ensure job management software and job files are updated accurately and timely.
- Maintain communication and flow of paperwork from the job site to all involved parties.
- Perform project completion inspections on assigned projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate with customer re: their needs, our capabilities and plans, and job progress.
- Work with Superintendents and Managers to develop, train, mentor, and assess Technicians.
- Field training, feedback, dress code expectations, proper use of PPE, identify training gaps.
- Participate in all required training.
- All other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or Manager
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Pass an annual MVR - Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) and a respirator when required by job.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
- Employee may be required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, sometimes in tight spaces.
- Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move 75 lbs.
- Work is predominantly performed at a customer's property where you may encounter standing water, sewage, fire damage, smoke, mold, or other organic growth (PPE is provided).
Salary: $28.00-$30.00 plus overtime and on-call bonus
